Given my current news, I thought it fitting to share this video.
I find it incredibly sad that a group of people could attempt to deny people an element of humanity. After all, does a gay marriage affect you that much? Does it really undermine family values? Surely divorce should be seen with more contempt as it literally breaks up families and undermines the family structure? Surely that’s a bigger fight to fight – teaching people how to maintain relationships, rather than breaking them up because they don’t fit the mould?
This video breaks my heart… these are just people trying to find their way in the world. Does it really affect you that much? Well, I know how much it affects them…
Ken Starr, who led the campaign to impeach President Bill Clinton, filed a legal brief last month — on behalf of the “Yes on 8” campaign — that would forcibly divorce 18,000 same-sex couples that were married in California last year before the passage of Prop 8.
